I am a PhD student at the Laboratoire de
Géologie de Lyon, Terre, Planètes, Environnement at
Ecole Normale de Lyon, working with Chloé
Michaut and Stéphane
Labrosse. I am developing models of lunar
magma ocean crystallization in particular to
understand the origin of the lunar dichotomy in
crustal thickness.
One suggestion is that a degree-one convection
settles in the solid cumulates before the end of the
solidification of the lunar magma ocean. Because the
solid cumulates are in contact and exchange material
with the magma ocean, solid convection may indeed be
facilitated and a degree-one pattern of convection
could be favoured (Morison et al, 2019).
Here is a short video
about my work.
I am interested in programming and geodynamics.
