The Radiative Transfer Working Group is mandated by the
European Interferometry Initiative to establish a european vision on the future of radiative transfer problems in regard of
the advances expected in both optical and infrared interferometry within the next 5 years. What current astrophysical questions will become accessible? What new astrophysical questions will arise? To what level of development radiative transfer solvers will have to be taken to answer these? During this 3-day workshop centered on round table discussions, experts in radiative transfer and interferometry will survey these topics in all related fields of astronomy; from stellar atmospheres, to interstellar gas (in jets for instance), and interstellar dust (in proto-planetary disks for example).
