I am currently teaching as an agrégé préparateur (specificly french post-doctoral position) at the ENS de Lyon in the physics department. I am also commited to a research project lead in collaboration with Eric Bertin involving numerical simulation and theoretical work on statistical physics applied to simple economics.
I completed my Ph. D. in the Laboratoire Joliot Curie in Lyon, France. The laboratory is a transdisciplinary center where physicists, biologists and chemists work alongside. My thesis tackled the problem of statistical positioning of nucleosomes induced by the sequence. Depending on its nucleotidic content, the DNA may or may not be prone to nucleosome formation. My work intended to study the correlation between the nucleosomal positioning observed and the one predicted by a simple energetic model based on the sequence. It involved a fair amount of numerical simulations as well as close collaborations with expermientalists.
