Presentation of IFÉ’s intelligence unit at IFLA 2014
The IFLA World Library and Information Congress, being held this year in Lyon, is an international event bringing together about 3500 participants from more than 120 countries. It sets the international agenda for the profession and offers opportunities for networking and professional development to all delegates.
And it is an opportunity for the host country (namely France!) to showcase the status of libraries and information science in their country as well as to have their professionals experience international librarianship.
Together with the Diderot library, the IFÉ’S intelligence unit (Veille et analyses) organises a thematic visit focused on library and information services dedicated to education and training matters.
