Welcome!

Hello! Welcome to my research group page!

In my group, we are interested in looking into biomolecular motions and interactions to understand how complex biological system works. We are at the crossing of chemistry, biology and physics and use NMR spectroscopy as our main tool to probe those systems. To put it simple we look at how biological molecules move, bend, distort or twist, alone or within their biological partners. We try to describe those processes at high, if possible, atomic resolution and then to see how it relates to their biological function and activity.

We believe that understanding the physical chemistry of complex nucleic acids or protein at the fundamental level is by itself a fascinating task but also a very important way to better understand the biology of those system and more generally the functioning of life. By providing robust description of those systems, it will also help in the rational design of novel therapeutics and bio-engineering.
