· Short Biography:
Pascale Vicat-Blanc Primet is senior researcher
at the National Institute of Research in Computer Science (INRIA) since 2005.
From 1989 to 2004, she was Associate Professor at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon. Since
2002, she is leading, the INRIA RESO team (25 researchers and engineers) within
the LIP laboratory of the Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon. Her research
interests include High Speed and High Performance Networks, Internet protocols,
Protocols architecture, Quality of Service, Network and Traffic Measurement,
Network Programmability and Virtualization, Grid computing and Grid networking
and Communications. She is member of the scientific "Networks and Telecoms"
expert committee of CNRS (National Research and Science Center). She is member
of the Grid5000's - French Computer Science Grid initiative -
steering committee. Participates to evaluation committees of the French
National Research Agency. She serves as co-chair of the Semantic Networking »
research topic of the INRIA-Bell Labs laboratory. She has co-chaired the GGF
Data Transport Research Group. She is currently the leader of the
ANR HIPCAL project. She represents and lead the activity of INRIA in variety of
International, European and National Grid projects including: EU IST DataGRID,
EU IST DataTAG, RNTL eToile, ACI
GdX, EU IST EC-GIN, EU OGF-Europe, ANR IGTMD, CARRIOCAS project of the Pôle de
Competitivité System@tic. She is co-chairing of the PFLDnet and ACM Gridnets
conference steering committees and member of numerous international
program committees. She is member of IEEE and of the OGF (Open Grid Forum). She
has published more than 80 papers in International Journal and Conferences in
Networking and Grid computing. She obtained her Habilitation à Diriger les
Recherches from University of Lyon in 2002, her PhD (88) in Computer Science,
MsC (84) and Engineer diploma (84) in Computer Science from INSA de
Lyon.
