Thomas Letendre

Agrégé préparateur in mathematics

I am an "Agrégé préparateur" (post-doctoral fellow) at the UMPA (ENS de Lyon, France) since september 2015.

My work mixes geometry and probability theory: I study the typical geometry or topology of random submanifolds defined as the zero sets of a smooth Gaussian process. More details here.

My research is partially funded by the french ANR grant Unirandom. The goal of this project is to study universality problems for random submanifolds.

I defended my Ph.D. thesis on November 24th 2016. My dissertation: "Contributions to the study of random submanifolds" is here. My advisor is Damien Gayet from the Institut Joseph Fourier (Grenoble, France).
