He co-leads the <a href=\"https:\/\/ionicliquids.cnrs.fr\">Ionic Liquids research group<\/a> with&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/perso.ens-lyon.fr\/margarida.costa-gomes\/\">Margarida Costa Gomes<\/a> (CNRS res. prof.). The IL Group is part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ens-lyon.fr\/CHIMIE\/recherche\/Teams\/Chimie_Theorique\">Theoretical Chemistry and Molecular Thermodynamics<\/a> research axis at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ens-lyon.fr\/CHIMIE\">Chemistry Laboratory<\/a> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group studies the physical chemistry of ionic liquids and eutectic mixtures, aiming to develop new solvents for reactions or separations, and also electrolytes or lubricants, with applications in sustainable chemical processes and devices. The group&#8217;s work combines molecular dynamics simulations with experimental thermodynamics.
