We would like to bring to the attention of Master students that we are looking for a young scientist to pursue a PhD project on “Artificial Intelligence to Decode the Genomic Replication Programme of Human Cells” [1]. The project will be jointly supervised by a DNA replication expert (Olivier Hyrien, IBENS, Paris) and two specialists in AI techniques and big data (Jean-Michel Arbona, Benjamin Audit, ENS de Lyon) [3]. We recommend interested students to contact us to discuss the project [2].

Formal application will be done through the open call for 15 PhD positions in Paris University [4] for master students from abroad (any nationality or age, but applicants should not have lived or carried out their main activity in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the deadline of the call on 26 February 2021). Note that students may apply to one of the 24 PhD projects that are proposed on a wide-range of topics but all at the interfaces of artificial intelligence or big data processing. Successful students will integrate the Artificial Intelligence for the Sciences (AI4theSciences) doctoral program in Septembre 2021 [6].
