I am a PhD student at the Laboratoire de Géologie de Lyon (LGL-TPE, ENS Lyon), supervised by Chloé Michaut, Stéphanie Durand, and Thomas Bodin.
My research focuses on the seismicity of Mars and the Moon using a Bayesian approach. Given the limited observation time and the small number of seismic stations (1 on Mars, 4 on the Moon), accounting for event detectability is crucial to obtaining more accurate estimates of the Gutenberg-Richter law parameters (b-value and moment rate).
The aim of the thesis is to investigate the link between observed seismicity on one-plate planet and the build-up of stress through lithosphere cooling.
