Documents and references for climate physics

The problems of climate physics, climate dynamics, global warming and its consequences are often discussed in a not so scientific way. You can find below some scientific documents and references about these subjects (with an emphasize on the problems related to physical sciences).

Seminar of Ray Pierre-Humbert at AGU-2013:
I advice the excellent seminar of Ray Pierre-Humbert on the history of the successes (and sometimes failures) of climate sciences to predict facts that have been observed a-posteriori. Pierre-Humbert's talk and slides.

Books for non-specialist scientists:
I recommend the usually excellent small books for non-specialist, from the series "Princeton primers on climate", that cover the basics of the subject at more or less an undergraduate level

Scientific textbooks:

Readable official reports:
For good summaries with no scientific technicalities, have a look at the reports of the National Research Council (NRC):
http://nas-sites.org/americasclimatechoices/
(The NRC depends on the National Academy of Science (United States)). These reports are much more readable than IPCC reports.
Look also at NOAA reports:
http://www.noaa.gov/climate.html
You can find some of those reports here.
Some good websites dedicated to a large audience:

Large audience seminar on climate, in Lyon: “Changements de climat : changements de société ?”, organisée par Pauline Lachapelle dans le cadre des recontres "Et si on en parlait"
