Guillaume Hanrot

Je suis professeur à l'ENS Lyon, au sein
du laboratoire LIP.
Je travaille dans
l'équipe-projet Arenaire. Je
suis également vice-président de la
commission
d'évaluation de l'INRIA, ainsi que directeur adjoint du
département informatique de
l'ENS Lyon.
J'ai participé au développement de la bibliothèque
mpfr, et, dans une
bien moindre mesure, du système
PARI. Tous deux sont libres.
Mes spécialités sont la théorie algorithmique des
nombres et ses applications. En particulier, je travaille sur des
problèmes d'arithmétique des ordinateurs (arrondi
correct des fonctions, approximations polynomiales ou rationnelles) et
certains problèmes algorithmiques importants en cryptologie,
notamment la réduction des réseaux, qui est au centre de
mes intérêts récents.
J'ai également été chargé d'enseignement d'exercice partiel à l'École polytechnique jusqu'en
septembre 2005. Jusqu'en 2009, j'étais chercheur à l'INRIA Nancy-Grand Est.
