CURRENT WORK :
“Conformation, morphology and self-assembly of  colloidal semiconducting nanoplatelets”
The main aim of this project is to synthesize, characterize (by TEM, HAADF-STEM, XRD, RBS, XPS, EDX, SAED, SAXS/WAXS, UV-vis spectroscopy) and control the properties of semiconductor nanoplatelets. We first developed the solvothermal synthesis of indium sulfide nanoribbons and nanobelts and showed it is possible to control their conformation in solution by surface ligand exchange. We then realized the self-assembly of CdSe nanoplatelets and showed in the framework of a collaboration with the INSP Paris that fast homo-FRET occurs in such assemblies. This work is under the supervision of Dr. Benjamin Abécassis (CNRS).
