Simulation of Micrococcal nuclease digestion pattern on oligo-chromatin
Digestion of chromatin by the enzyme Micrococcal nuclease (MNase) allows classically measuring average nu- cleosome size (DNA wrapped plus linker). Using new pattern simulation tools that were developped for the digestion of chromatin by Micrococcal nuclease, we use this biochemical technique to study the positioning of nucleosomes on short oligonucleosomal templates. Moreover, the combination of biochemical experiments with simulation tool is used to study nucleosome dynamics induced by remodeling factors like RSC on the same templates. Work under progress.
