Research Interests
My current research interests are in the following themes :
- Analysis of non-stationary and/or scale invariant signals :
time-scales and time-frequency representations, non-stationary
representation, measure of
non-stationarity, scale invariance.
- Signal processing for physics:
fluid turbulence, wave turbulence, convection, dynamics of fracture,
acoustic gravity wave detection in the ionosphere, hydrological
processes, clouds structure.
- Internet : modeling and metrology of traffic signals
metrology and statistical modeling of Internet traffic, anomalies detection.
- Signal processing for neurology :
analysis of dynamical process involved in the central representation of olfactif stimuli.
I currently have a PhD student, who works on the study of slow growth in heterogeneous materials.
