Solid liquid interfaces are my main research topic
My main research activities are the application and improvements of methods to model heterogeneous electrocatalysis under realistic conditions. Therefore, the solvent and electrolyte effects are key.
Method development for better treating the solid/liquid interface is one of my favorite topics. In the last few years, I have also become increasingly involved with the structural characterization of rare earth elements incorporation in marine sediments.
