Research
Solid liquid interfaces are my main research topic
My main research activities are the application and improvements of methods to model heterogeneous electrocatalysis under realistic conditions. Therefore, the solvent and electrolyte effects are key.
In particular, I am developing force fields for the metal / water interaction, a method for decomposing the adsorption energy into intuitive components, and methods for rapidly determining the high recovery adsorbate energies necessary to allow simulations of Kinetic Monte Carlo.
