Research interests

My research interests cover a wide range of topics both in physics (granular matter, complex fluids, acoustics, fluid dynamics) and geophysics (volcano acoustics, plate tectonics, subsidence, hotspots). Most of these studies are based on laboratory experiments or field data analysis. The specificity is to focus on a physical mechanism at stake in a natural phenomenon (e.g. the role of non-Newtonian rheology in bubble dynamics or acoustics on volcanoes) and investigate this process by means of laboratory experiments.
