From April 11th to 17th, I was observing EGMO 2025 to prepare for EGMO 2026 as much as possible and to be part of the EGMO Board.
I also started developing our social media for next year, on Instagram.
Participating to EGMO was a crucial moment in my life when I participated in 2014, and sharing this with younger girls is my main motivation to organize it. By watching the girls this year, I see that the magic continues. By bringing together all these young math geniuses for several days—with math exams and free time—girls are allowed to be truly themselves. And in return, they give us the best example of sorority I know.
Teams from different countries speak freely with each other, jumping straight into philosophical questions, math problems, and plans for the future. They’re always fair play during the competition, and they care for each other. Without the male gaze, they laugh, they dance, they speak up, they dress how they want, and they are brilliant in maths.
I am so happy that we can finally organize the 15th edition in France. I hope the EGMO spirit will inspire all the girls who want to pursue STEM and help bring the change we need.
