My scientific interests are mostly concentrated on some interactions between mathematics and computer science, for example in computer algebra, real algebraic geometry, combinatorics or geometry and images.
Some of my favorite books about these topics:
- The probabilistic method, Alon, Spencer
- Ideals, varieties, and algorithms, Cox, Little, O'Shea
- Modern Computer Algebra, Gather, Gerhard
- Mathematics by Experiment, Plausible Reasoning in the 21st century, Borwein, Bailey
Research internships:
- M2 Internship (February-June 2017): During this internship, I worked at the LIP laboratory in Lyon, under the supervision of Pascal Koiran. We studied some combinatorial properties of Newton polygons, Minkowski sums and the Onion Peeling process. You will find here my report, and also my slides for my presentation (both are only available in french). However, I gave a talk in English during the compA meeting about this work, you can find the slides here.
- In a research school context, I started some experiments in order to have an idea of the number of convex layers of a random integer points sets. Using Rstudio, I produced an HTML page you can consult here.
- M1 Internship (May-August 2015): During this summer internship at the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) in Barcelona, under the supervision of Jordi Cortadella, I was interested in hybrid approaches to solve boolean formulations of cell routing problems. You will find here my report and also my slides for my presentation.
- L3 Internship (May-June 2014): During this 6 weeks internship, I worked at the LIRIS (Lyon) under the supervision of David Coeurjolly. We have studied several functions of estimation of the local thickness of 3D objects. You will find here my report and also my slides for my presentation (both are only available in french).
Other projects or interests:
- I worked on the TriComp project (a knit compiler), as a part of my M1 courses.
- You can find other projects on my Github page
- With one friend, we are interesting in creating a multiplayer crosswords interface, but for the moment the project is paused, hoping I will have more time to work on it.
- I'm really fascinated by Iceland. I really would like my next trip to be in this country. You will find here a wonderful website to learn icelandic language.
- The basis of sorting algorithms explained with folk dance.
